Women’s Self Defence Classes

Adelaide Ninjutsu dojo also runs Women’s Self Defence classes, run by women, for women! These classes focus on awareness, avoiding “victim” behaviour, avoiding dangerous situations, tactics to get out of sticky situations, and if worse comes to worse, how to survive!

Ninjutsu is unique in that it does not rely on strength, power or speed and is therefore uniquely suited to women’s self defence.
Classes are held at our central Adelaide dojo and enquiries can be made to Stephanie on 0410 607 861 or stephanie@aaac.net.au.

Things you will learn to do:
–          Fall down safely and avoid punches, kicks, grabs and knives
–          Disarm a knife attack
–          Get out of bear hugs and other types of full body grabs
–          Get out of arm and wrist grabs
–          Disable an attacker so that you can escape
–          What “weapons” you have at your disposal
–          Move more safely and present a more difficult target to a would be attacker
–          Recognise and avoid dangerous situations
–          Modify your own behaviour so that you don’t look like an easy target
–          Become more confident and project a stronger personality

Our female Shihan – International Master Instructors – are also available to attend the workplace, schools, groups and clubs for a single session or talk, or they can deliver an “on-site” series of sessions for a safer work place (personal safety).
